Madeline Maxi Dress — Collected At Dusk

A dark garden coming into bloom at the hem. Above, tiny amber gems are scattered across black cotton. Below, a border rises from the hem: red hibiscus, a tall palm, broad leaves, and small pineapples. The print is rendered to look like thread work, down to the stitch lines, and is edged with a row of gold discs. The bodice is pleated straight across, front and back. Thin straps cross to the back and tie in a bow, finished with small gold tips. It gathers at the waist into a full skirt with side pockets, and a touch of stretch keeps the bodice close and comfortable. Wear it into evening with a heeled sandal, when the light goes gold and then dark.
