Lines of rope drift across a field of black cotton, tied off here and there in square knots, looped bends, and loose coils. The ivory motif is knitted into the fabric rather than printed, and it wraps the back and runs down each sleeve, so the pattern reads from every side. The shape is relaxed, with dropped shoulders, a ribbed crewneck, and a hem that settles at the hip. Wear it over wide-leg trousers when the wind picks up off the water.
