Emma Short | Mocha Leopard
The Emma Short is built around a print that earns the toile comparison — a dense, etching-style scene rendered entirely in burnt sienna on cream: palms, flamingos, herons, leopards, and tropical foliage laid out like an illustration from a natural history expedition. The two-color treatment keeps what could read as busy feeling precise and considered, with each element rendered in fine line detail against the cream ground.
The silhouette is relaxed and slightly voluminous — a high elasticated waistband with a drawstring finished with cowrie shells, wide-cut legs, and a flared hem trimmed with a crisp stripe band in coral and brick that breaks cleanly from the print. The stripe border at the hem mirrors the trim on the Beatrice Top, connecting the two as a matched set without reading as a matching set.
A pull-on short with the drape and movement of a good viscose — worn on its own, over a swimsuit, or paired with the Beatrice Top.
