Beatrice Top | Mocha Leopard

The Beatrice is the top half of the Mocha Leopard set, and it’s doing something specific: an oversized boxy crop with wide kimono-style sleeves that lets the toile scene play out across a large, uninterrupted canvas. Palms rise from the center toward the shoulders, the horizon line of water and foliage wraps across the front and continues onto the sleeves — the print is engineered to read as a single landscape across the whole garment, rather than a repeat.

The neckline is a wide, relaxed scoop that sits easy on the shoulder. At the back, a small keyhole with a cowrie shell button closure — the same shell detail carried through on the Emma Short’s drawstring. The hem finishes with the stripe band in coral and brick that mirrors the Short’s hem trim exactly, so worn together the two pieces register as a set without announcing it.

Loose through the body, cropped to hit just above the natural waist, with the drape and slight sheen of EcoVero viscose. Worn with the Emma Short, it reads as a full look. Worn on its own over a swimsuit or with something simple underneath, it works just as well.
